I have known Rob for almost 20 years now. We have trained and campaigned dogs together for most of that time, and despite the fact we were often competitors, I have sent Rob at least two dogs of my own for training. Whereas most other trainers make it complex and difficult, Rob makes it easy to understand what he wants both the owner and the dog to do. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner.

I have hunted at Whitewater for the last three years and have always been pleased with the ground cover and the quality of the birds that Rob provides. I've hunted a number of preserves both in and out of state and Whitewater remains at the top of the list in terms of a quality experience for hunting.
The dogs are challenged because Rob's birds act more like wild birds than any other preserve to date. The birds have been full feathered and strong flyers. Rob has also been a pleasure to work with and has been very helpful on dog training questions.

Rob is the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with. He trained Smoke, my black lab, on upland game and she was the 2006 National Bird Dog Challenge (NBDC) high point dog. I used the Whitewater Preserve to train Sara (Springer Spaniel), the 2004 USA Tournament Hunters Players Champion. Rob's excellent grounds were instrumental in Sara's success.
